Drinking water testing

Types of water testing in the laboratory

Drinking water testing is essential to protect health and ensure that the water we consume meets the highest quality standards. This process determines whether the water is safe for human consumption or if it complies with the official requirements needed for building permits or mortgages.

Our laboratory offers two main types of drinking water testing.

Bacteriological water analysis

This study identifies microorganisms such as fecal coliforms, total coliforms, and Escherichia coli. It is recommended for those who want to confirm whether water is safe to drink.

Clients can deliver their samples on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays before 9:30 a.m., with results available in one week.

Cost: ¢29,380

Water Analysis N1

This examination combines physicochemical and bacteriological parameters such as turbidity, odor, temperature, pH, residual chlorine, apparent color, conductivity, and coliform presence. It is often required for official legal procedures.

For this test, a laboratory staff member must collect the sample directly at the site. Requirements include: a well, a pump for extraction, cadastral plan copy, personal information, and a scheduled appointment.

Results are available within 15 days.

Cost of ¢90,400 plus transportation

Choosing a professional drinking water testing service guarantees accurate results, legal support, and, above all, safe water for families, businesses, and communities.
