{"id":631,"date":"2022-09-01T11:05:54","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T17:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/laboratoriobioclinic.cr\/?p=631"},"modified":"2022-09-01T11:06:23","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T17:06:23","slug":"qu%c3%a9-son-los-electrolitos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/laboratoriobioclinic.cr\/es\/blog-es\/qu%c3%a9-son-los-electrolitos\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los electrolitos?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"p1\">Los electrolitos son sustancias cargadas el\u00e9ctricamente con cargas positivas o negativas y son capaces de transportar electricidad cuando se encuentran libres<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Estas sustancias se hallan diluidas en el <strong>plasma sangu\u00edneo<\/strong> de manera que permiten mantener un pH \u00f3ptimo para la correcta funci\u00f3n de \u00f3rganos y sistemas.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">\u00bfPOR QU\u00c9 SON IMPORTANTES LOS ELECTROLITOS?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Los trastornos hidroelectrol\u00edticos pueden ser secundarios a alteraciones en la concentraci\u00f3n electrol\u00edtica, como:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Disminuci\u00f3n del sodio, trastorno m\u00e1s frecuente, producto de la p\u00e9rdida por el aparato gastrointestinal, renal o edema (acumulaci\u00f3n de l\u00edquido en los tejidos del cuerpo).<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Aumento del sodio, provocado por exceso de aporte, o reducci\u00f3n de agua libre por ejemplo por deshidrataci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Disminuci\u00f3n del potasio, provocado por d\u00e9ficit de consumo o p\u00e9rdida gastrointestinal y urinaria. Esta deficiencia puede llevar a severas alteraciones en el m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico y liso, as\u00ed como el sistema nervioso y m\u00fasculo cardiaco.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Aumento del potasio, provocado por aumento de la ingesta o reducci\u00f3n de la excreci\u00f3n urinaria. Las arritmias cardiacas resultantes, pueden poner en peligro la vida del paciente.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Disminuci\u00f3n del calcio, provocado por insuficiencia renal, hipoparatiroidismo, hipomagnesemia, pancreatitis aguda, sepsis, entre otros.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Aumento del calcio, producto de la presencia de tumores, hiperparatiroidismo, inmovilizaci\u00f3n, depleci\u00f3n de f\u00f3sforo, uso de diur\u00e9ticos tiaz\u00eddicos o vitamina D, insuficiencia suprarrenal, hipertiroidismo, entre otros.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Disminuci\u00f3n del magnesio: producto del uso de diur\u00e9ticos, diabetes\u00a0descompensada, hipertiroidismo, hiperparatiroidismo, sepsis, o quemaduras.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Aumento del magnesio: producto de sobrecarga alimenticia de magnesio en pacientes con lesi\u00f3n renal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"p1\">\u00bfPOR QU\u00c9 SE DEBE REALIZAR LA DETERMINAR DE ELECTROLITOS?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Los cambios en las concentraciones plasm\u00e1ticas de estos elementos condicionan a una serie de manifestaciones, que deben ser consideradas para su reposici\u00f3n adecuada y evitar de este modo complicaciones en la salud del paciente.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En Laboratorios Bioclinic de Puerto Viejo se realiza la <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoriobioclinic.cr\/servicios\/servicio-2\/\"><strong>determinaci\u00f3n de electrolitos<\/strong><\/a> mediante una <strong>muestra de sangre.<\/strong> No se requiere ayuno.
