An increase in the value in this test can indicate a problem at the level of the prostate that could even be cancer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auanet.org\/\">American Society of Urology<\/a> recommends an annual digital rectal exam and PSA blood test for all men over 45 years of age. In the Clinical Laboratory, blood tests are performed to determine the levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA or PSA). An increase in the value in this test can indicate a problem at the level of the prostate that could even be <strong>cancer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At <strong>Bioclinic Laboratory<\/strong> in <strong>Puerto Viejo<\/strong>, <strong>Lim\u00f3n<\/strong> we perform total <strong>PSA tests<\/strong> for <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoriobioclinic.cr\/services\/clinical-immunology\/\"><strong>prostate control<\/strong><\/a>.
