(<a href=\"https:\/\/movember.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">movember.com<\/a>)<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Prostate Cancer in Costa Rica<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Prostate cancer is one of the most common types among men in Costa Rica and worldwide. According to the <a target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Costa Rican Ministry of Health<\/a>, the incidence has increased over the years, with many cases diagnosed at advanced stages, making treatment challenging. Awareness and access to preventive screenings are essential to reduce these rates.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Importance of Early Diagnosis and Prevention<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Early diagnosis of prostate cancer significantly increases the chances of successful treatment. Screening tests include the prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test and a physical examination. These screenings are recommended for men aged 50 and older or from age 40 with a family history of prostate cancer.
