Para evitar este problema se recomienda mantener bajo control la humedad de los zapatos usando talcos y secando muy bien los pies.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Muchos hongos pueden causar las <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medigraphic.com\/pdfs\/revmedcoscen\/rmc-2014\/rmc144t.pdf\">onicomicosis <\/a>entre ellos est\u00e1n los dermatofitos, <i>Candida<\/i> spp., <i>Aspergillus<\/i> spp., <i>Fusarium<\/i> spp., <i>Scopulariopsis brevicaulis<\/i>, <i>Neoscytalidium<\/i> spp., <i>Alternaria<\/i> spp., <i>Curvularia <\/i>spp., <i>Acremonium<\/i> spp., <i>Trichosporon<\/i> spp., y <i>Onychocola\u00a0canadensis<\/i>. <i>Tricophyton Rubrum<\/i> es el causante de hongos mayormente aislado en el mundo, y el principal en <strong>Costa Rica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Si observa alteraciones como cambios en la coloraci\u00f3n, textura y composici\u00f3n, as\u00ed como <strong>engrosamiento de u\u00f1as<\/strong> es importante acudir al laboratorio cl\u00ednico para realizar el <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoriobioclinic.cr\/servicios\/parasitolog%c3%ada\/\"><strong>estudio por hongos<\/strong><\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Es importante que antes de tomar la muestra el paciente no se aplique ning\u00fan tipo de tratamiento ni talcos o cremas, remedios caseros, esmaltes o brillo de u\u00f1as por al menos 15 d\u00edas y lavarse solamente con agua y con jab\u00f3n. Las u\u00f1as tampoco pueden estar muy recortadas. Se recomienda <strong>no retirar el detrito<\/strong> (material debajo de las u\u00f1as).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">En <strong>Laboratorio Bioclinic<\/strong> contamos con el personal capacitado para realizar la toma correcta de la muestra.
